People in the United States are very concerned and restless about their friends and relatives. This is because they are living or visiting areas where COVID-19 is already available or spreading now. When a person carrying corona-virus visits public places i.e. markets, gatherings, parties or meet someone without adopting precautionary measures, it becomes a transmission source of Corona virus or COVID-19. This is a pandemic disease which transfers from person to person via respiratory system.

Panic, anxiety and fear might lead to social stigma i.e. towards people who traveled from one country to another country, people living in certain parts of the world where Corona exist, people in quarantine (either in hospitals or went in isolation in homes), or healthcare workers and professionals.

Stigma is basically unawareness, ignorance and lack of knowledge regarding COVID-19. Social Stigma means behavior of those people which have lack of knowledge about different aspects of COVID-19 i.e. how it spreads, what are its symptoms, how to stop community spreading of COVID-19, blame someone, and gossip that causes to spread myths and rumors about COVID-19.
