She commended co-star Kathleen Gati, who portrays Britt’s mother, Dr. Obrecht, for her strong portrayal during those poignant passages, despite her own criticisms.
Kelly also admitted that there were parts of her performance that she would have handled differently, indicating that she continues to evaluate her work critically and may still harbor unresolved sentiments regarding Britt’s story’s conclusion.
