Miranda Lambert appeared unfazed by the backlash after calling out a fan during one of her performances.
The country music sensation is currently headlining a residency in Las Vegas, as previously reported by Mamas Uncut. Last week, she unexpectedly halted her show to confront a fan directly.

Lambert reportedly spotted a fan who had paid to be at her event taking a “selfie” while she was performing her song “Tin Man.” In front of the entire audience, Lambert took the opportunity to address the paying fan directly.
“I’m going to pause for a moment,” she announced. She then directed her attention to the woman, urging her to stop snapping selfies and instead immerse herself in the music.
“I’m a bit frustrated that some of you are so focused on your selfies that you’re missing the song. Honestly, I really don’t like it. We’re here tonight to enjoy some country music. I’m here to perform some genuine country music.”
Lambert continued her performance as the woman set her phone down. The crowd cheered enthusiastically for Lambert when she called out the “selfie-takers” during the show.

Following her latest performance, Lambert paused her show again when she spotted a fan wearing a t-shirt that read, “Shoot tequila, not selfies.” It seems Lambert appreciated the shirt.
She informed the audience that her own top had the same phrase: “Shoot tequila, not selfies.” “I didn’t say it; she did!”
Lambert’s choice to add a bit of salt to the situation has sparked even more outrage. One commenter exclaimed, “Wow! It’s hard to believe this is her reaction to her own rudeness.”
While some social media users criticized Lambert, others stood by her side, mirroring the sentiments of some concert attendees. A Twitter user expressed, “What a way to embarrass and shame your loyal fans who adore you.” She could have joked with them, taken a selfie, and encouraged them to enjoy the moment. Not very cool.

Attending a concert is all about creating lasting memories and enjoying the experience. One Twitter user added, “Everyone should have the opportunity to snap a photo to capture that moment.”

Since that time, the so-called “self-taker” has shared the photos she captured and addressed Lambert’s actions. When inquired about the duration it took to snap the picture before returning to their seats, Adela Calin replied, “It was at most 30 seconds.” She further mentioned that they “quickly took the picture and were about to sit back down.”
However, Miranda Lambert had already criticized them before they could settle back in. Calin expressed that she was “appalled” by Lambert’s disparagement of them in front of a large audience.

She commented, “It was as if I had returned to school, with the teacher instructing me to take my seat and scolding me for my mistakes.” “… It felt like she was determined to portray us as young, arrogant, and childish. In reality, we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.
